Once a customer service office, the Suffolk County Water Authority buidling on Montauk Highway is now just a construction office and where certain work trucks are based. Customers cannot go here to pay their bills or speak with customer service represenatives. Instead, they can call the main office in Coram. Trucks are dispatched from the East Hampton office in the event of a problem with service. The Suffolk County Water Authority is a not-for-profit entity and has been offering public water service since June, 1951.
