Rochester High School
Rochester High School, built in 1989, serves more than 600 students in grades 9 through 12. It employs a staff of over 45 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes instructional assistants, classroom teachers, gymnasium instructors, nurses, psychologists, special education aides, media specialists, guidance counselors, and art and music professionals. Rochester High School provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, such as volleyball, football, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, wrestling, cheerleading, and track and field. The school is a part of the Rochester School District, which has a total enrollment of nearly 2,000 students. Located in Rochester, Wash., Rochester High School s core curriculum includes Spanish, home and family science, social studies, math, science, English, vocal music, band, vocational studies, and health and physical education.
