Founded in 1972, the Korean Women's Association is a nonprofit organization that provides multicultural and multilingual services to limited English speaking immigrants. It assists several poor people, senior citizens, low-income families, disabled individuals, immigrants and refugees. The association serves the Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Clallam, Jefferson, Grays Harbor and Snohomish counties in Washington. It provides ethnic-based programming, as well as provides children with opportunities for socialization and integration with people of similar interest, backgrounds and languages.
