Ruchi D. Shah, MD, is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, who has clinical interests in neovascular glaucoma and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Shah received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and biology summa cum laude at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her medical degree in the College of Medicine at the same institution. She finished ophthalmology residency training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., where she received the Outstanding OKAPS Score Award-Glaucoma and the Magis Star for outstanding patient service and care at Loyola Hospital. She went on to complete fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
