Dr. Matt Koepplinger sees patients of all ages. He treats new and existing patients as if they were friends or family members. His down-to-earth personality helps them feel at ease. He exhausts all non-surgical options and considers surgery as a last resort. His open approach to education helps patients make informed decisions regarding their care. Practicing more than 10 years and board certified, Dr. Koepplinger specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He treats common and complex conditions that aren’t performed elsewhere, and treats variety of disorders, trauma and injuries. Dr. Koepplinger is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Association of Hand Surgeons, and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
