Established in 1976, the Women's Center Of SECT provides a range of services for the victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. With one of its locations in New London, Conn., the center focuses on creating a violence-free society. It offers crisis intervention, health care and group counseling services. The center also operates various support groups for children, parents and adolescents. The Women's Center Of SECT conducts a transitional living program that helps homeless women and families to develop skills to live a healthy and independent life.
