History
Spanning two campuses, New School Montessori offers a non-denominational Montessori education in a respectful, and caring environment. Our Lancaster City Campus is located in a light-filled, historic space in Lancaster City. For over 30 years, we have filled a niche in the community for families who seek an excellent, non-denominational, educational opportunity in a child-centered, nurturing environment. We opened in September 1990 with 64 students. Today we enroll over 215 students, infants through 8th grade, across two campuses. This extraordinary growth has been possible because of the enthusiasm, dedication, trust, positive attitude, and hard work of the faculty and staff, parents, and the Board of Trustees. Their ongoing commitment enables our school to flourish. We continue to serve the needs of our community, enabling our students access to Montessori excellence.
