Viento wines are created by Rich Cushman, winemaker for over 25 years and native of Hood River, Oregon.We chose the name Viento, Spanish for "wind," to reflect the constant vibrancy of the wind in the Columbia River Gorge. Our family works together to make these limited production wines in Hood River.We carefully craft all of our wines to emphasize balance, fruit character and the vineyard. At Viento, we practice the art of winemaking with respect for traditions and my personal style. The results are wines of balance, softness and wonderful flavors.
