The city of Shaker Heights has been around since 1912 and was first owned by the North Union Community. Today this community is full of friendly neighbors, great schools, a recreation center, shopping, dining and a local government. The City Hall building was built in 1930 and is the site of community resources such as city jobs openings, announcements, meetings, city services, business developments and offices of the city government.
