History
In 1983, after noticing a harvest time problem in the Red River Valley of sugar beets not rolling out of the trucks at the sugar factories, Phil Horn founded a company offering a solution - engineered plastics, slippery enough for sugar beets and sticky soil to slide off of and sturdy enough to protect truck beds and trailers from abrasive materials. As time passed, the demand for this plastic quickly expanded into new applications across the US with similar sticking or wear problems.
