Albany County Hall of Records is a joint city and county collection agency operating under Albany County Clerk. The hall houses archival records of both Albany County and the city of Albany, Oregon for future research and references. Its products and services includes corning papers, genealogy, hands on history education program and other government resources. The county clerk is responsible for the receipt, indexing, storage and retrieval of documents, including legal records pertaining to ownership of real property and various court records for supreme court and county court. It is also responsible for the collection of revenue for these services, which are provided to several levels of government and the general public. The offices other functions include front counter, record room, systems data entry, finance and public information, as well as the Albany County Hall of Records.
