St. Michael s High School, established in 1859 is one of the oldest educational institutions in Santa Fe, N.M. The school is affiliated with the New Orleans-Santa Fe School District and enrolls more than750 students in grades seven through 12. Its curriculum includes English, math, business, religion, science, social studies, computer technology and physical education. It also offers courses in foreign languages, such as Spanish and French, art, music psychology and sociology. The school offers various activities, such as astronomy and drama club, chess team, Fellowship of Christian Association. It offers various sports activities including volleyball, football, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, softball and track. The school is accredited by the New Mexico State Board of Education, National Catholic Educational Association and Christian Brothers Educational Conference.
