Darchei Noam is a modern Orthodox Jewish congregation seeking to replicate the spiritual prayers of many services in Israel. With a strong emphasis on lay leadership, the synagogue allows both male and female members to deliver Torah lectures after Saturday morning services. Founded in 2006, the synagogue dedicated a new building on Alexander Avenue (its first permanent home) and a Torah scroll in June 2009. The congregation runs a fund to assist needy individuals in the local community. Nathan Bednarsh and Mark Moerdler are the congregation's co-presidents. The synagogue is located across the street from Fair Lawn Jewish Center.
