The DDA manages the downtown district, which includes Washington Street from the lakefront to Seventh, Lakshore to Ridge, and Front Street from Ridge to rock street. it also includes N.Third Street from Baraga to Fair Ave, along with Main Street, Spring Street and Baraga Street from Third to the lakeshore. The DDA manages the downtown district and works on projects and programs that focus on developing and maintaining a positive image, strong property values, and a healthy business and economic environment.
