Founded in 1909, Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company provides a variety of fire safety and prevention programs to the general public. It offers life, property and environment protection services. The department provides services to more than 30,000 residents and businesses throughout the communities of Lutherville, Timonium, Towson, Stoneleigh and Ruxton in Maryland. It responds to severe accidents involving a variety of vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles and tractors. The department employs over 100 firefighters and staff members, as well as coordinates through fire engines, ambulances and cranes.
