The Bethesda Jewish Congregation is a liberal congregation that draws on teachings from several of the major Jewish movements. This congregation shares its Bradley Boulevard location with the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, and the two communities often engage in interfaith dialogue and service activities. Social action is emphasized at the congregation, which supports local causes including Bethesda Cares, A Wider Circle, Habitat for Humanity and the Potomac Conservancy. The congregation also supports a joint Palestinian-Jewish school in Israel and the Jewish community in Cuba.
