Oskaloosa Senior High School is a public school serving the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is a part of the Oskaloosa Community School District. It is organized on a trimester schedule and offers classes in social studies, science, math, health and physical education and fine arts. The school offers advanced placement courses in English, biology and government, and provides dual credit for advanced chemistry, calculus, accounting and music theory. It is recognized by the Belin Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development based on the number of students taking advanced placement exams. Its extracurricular activities include orchestra, marching band, choir and concert band. The school has athletic teams in cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, track, swimming, soccer, tennis, golf, softball, baseball and cheerleading.
