Hamilton Center
Hamilton Center employs more than 600 staff statewide, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, counselors and case managers. Hamilton Center is a regional behavioral health system in central and west central Indiana. Services are provided to children, adolescents and adults, with specialized programs for pregnant women, infants and people with drug and alcohol problems. Counseling services are provided for people who may be struggling with stress, life changes, or relationship issues as well as more serious problems such as depression, anxiety disorders and serious mental illnesses. The offices are designed to be convenient, private and confidential, reducing the barriers sometimes associated with seeking psychological health treatment. The center was established in 1971 and is headquartered in Terre Haute, Ind.
