The Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America (CRLN) is a network of individuals, congregations, denominations, and organizations dedicated to promoting social justice and building sustainable economies in Latin America and the United States. Through their action, advocacy, accompaniment, and awareness efforts, CRLN works to dismantle economic exploitation and U.S. militarism in Latin America, while also advocating for immigrant justice within the U.S.
CRLN's programs focus on mobilizing interfaith support for local deportation defense efforts, advocating for sanctuary for all, and working towards an end to detention. They also promote partnerships between the Northern Triangle, Colombia, Cuba, and the U.S., with a particular focus on ending harmful U.S. policies towards Cuba. With a strong commitment to community care and safety, CRLN challenges the criminalization of communities of color and fosters transformational relationships with directly-affected communities.
