Started in 1968, Leeward Community College enrolls more than 5,900 students in various liberal arts and technical educational programs from Hawaii. Its campus spreads across an area of over 45 acres. The college provides associate and certificate courses in the areas of accounting, business technology, digital arts, applied science, motion graphics, management and music. In addition, Leeward Community College offers distance and online educational options that include courses, such as human adaptations, visual arts and physical anthropology. The college includes a library that provides a range of educational books and resources. Leeward Community College offers academic, career and personal counseling services, as well as administers the Process Technology program.
