Established in 1937, Georgia State Patrol is a full-service law enforcement agency that is a division of the Georgia Department of Public Safety. The department enforces traffic laws and investigates traffic crashes, as well as supports various public safety agencies to reduce crime, apprehend law offenders, and respond to natural and manmade disasters.
