The Leesburg Police Department of Leesburg, Fla., is a very progressive agency that employs more than 70 sworn officers and 30-plus civilians. The department is the largest municipal agency in Lake County, Fla., and often sets the trends and standards for law enforcement within the county. The department is divided into three divisions: road patrol, criminal investigations and support services.
