The FSU Center for Developmental Science is a collaborative research institution comprised of developmental psychology professors, their staff, and students. They investigate how infants and children perceive, understand, learn, and behave in the world around them, exploring topics such as language acquisition, cognitive factors in mathematics learning, reading skill development, and improving ADHD behavioral treatment.
Supported by funding from Florida State University, The National Institute of Child Health and Development, and the Institute for Educational Sciences, the center relies on the participation of parents and their children to conduct their studies. Recognizing the uniqueness of children, they value the involvement of families and offer opportunities to join their Family Registry.
