History
Leon County Schools has been offering GED classes since the end of World War II. In response to a need for broader adult education in our community, the School System organized Adult & Community Education into its own school around 1988. Since that time Adult & Community Education School (also known as ACE) has typically served more than 2,000 students a year in various programs including GED classes, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes, high school credit retrieval classes, adults with disabilities and more.
