The Yuba Community College is a comprehensive community college that offers a full array of certificates, two-year associate degrees and the associate degree for transfer to the university. It offers programs in liberal arts, sciences, and vocational and technical fields for students seeking careers in business, education, health and human services, the sciences, industry and the trades. Additionally, the college offers precollegiate course work and course work for the English as a second language program. Its success center provides computer-based and personal tutoring support for students in mathematics and language arts. In addition, the college offers continuing education for professionals and career advancement opportunities for employed adults. It also conducts classes in counseling and management course work for small business owners. Located in Clearlake, Calif., the Yuba Community College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and recognized as a fully accredited two-year community college by the University of California.
