Santa Rosa Junior College offers educational and cultural programs to students. It also operates a Shone Farm, a technology academy in Telecom Valley, Calif., a student-run gourmet culinary arts center in downtown Santa Rosa, Calif., and a public safety training center in Windsor, Calif. The college has international education programs in Europe and Central America, athletic programs, nationally ranked speech and debate teams, a nationally recognized summer repertory theater, planetarium, the Jesse Peter Native American Museum, and an art gallery. The institution is affiliated to the Sonoma County Junior College District, one of the largest single college districts in the United States that serves more than 40,000 students each semester in an over 1,600 square mile service region. The college is located on an area of more than 100 acres in Santa Rosa, Calif.
