The Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples, founded in 1944 by Dr. Howard Thurman and Dr. Alfred Fisk, is the nation's first interracial interfaith congregation. For over 75 years, this interfaith, interracial, and intercultural community has been dedicated to personal empowerment and social transformation through a deepening relationship with the Spirit of God in All Life.
With a commitment to understanding all peoples as children of God, the church seeks to deepen the authentic spiritual quest of individuals while fostering unity among people of varied national, cultural, racial, and creedal backgrounds. Through corporate worship and personal dedication, the church aims to work towards God's purposes in all places.
