History
SF Therapy Collective's formation and mission was inspired and driven by the shared vision of our 4 founding clinicians. We 4 became friends and colleagues while working together at New Leaf Services, which had to close its doors October, 15th 2010, after 35 years of serving the LGBTQI community. Motivated by a mutual ambition to continue providing quality therapeutic services to the queer community in the Bay Area, we quickly gathered forces and were able to open our doors for service October 18th, 2010, in our new home in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco. 2019 brings us a steadily growing client base and 9 new interns. Plans are underway to expand collaborations with many LGBTQQI focused agencies here in San Francisco and to continue to spread the word about our organization to the community.
