History
Originally named the San Ramon Senior Center, it underwent a renovation and expansion in 2007 and re-emerged as the Alcosta Senior and Community Center. While the Alcosta Senior and Community Center caters to the recreational needs of adults over 55 during the day, the center's activities open up to all ages in the evening and on weekends. Don't let the name fool you, the Alcosta Senior and Community Center is the most active Community Center in San Ramon!

The Alcosta Senior and Community Center's upscale banquet hall offers something for everyone. The Vista Grande Room can accommodate up to 115 guests and with its versatility, the room is well suited for wedding receptions, birthday parties, large meetings and other special events. The Vista Grande Room opens up to the adjoining terrace, which extends your event outside. If you like the outdoors, the gazebo is a perfect location for your wedding ceremony. The Victorian-style gazebo, encircled by beautiful rose bushes, overlooks a broad lawn where family and friends can be seated. Don't think it stops with these great opportunities, there is also additional meeting space available for up to 50 people. The Alcosta Senior and Community Center is definitely not a venue to pass up!
