History
Six months after my son was born I looked in the mirror and was not happy. I had lost confidence in my appearance. I vowed to make a change. I reformed my eating habits and started exercising regularly. Through hard work and perseverance I was able to go from 23% body fat to 14% in a year. I felt empowered! In the process, I decided I wanted to inspire other women to reach their own fitness and health goals. I wanted to help other women feel beautiful, confident, and healthy. By reaching their goals, I wanted them to feel empowered. I discussed my passion for health and fitness with my husband who is a cardiologist with his own practice. He encouraged me to start a fitness and nutrition program for his patients at Healthy Living Medical in Pasadena, CA. We now work together, to help transform people lives through better health and fitness.
Specialties
We do not like punishing style workouts like boot camps, because they tend to be unendurable. Instead, our programs are designed to be enjoyable, yet challenging and sustainable. No workout is the same to help prevent boredom. We're constantly learning the latest research on exercise and nutrition from a scientific view rather than exploiting the latest popular fitness trends. We encourage feedback and are always open to new ideas and suggestions.
