Founded in 1990, Homeward Bound is a transitional housing program for children and families who suffer from domestic violence. The agency owns and operates more than 160 housing units for over 595 people and nearly 400 children. It provides case management, mental health care and employment services. Homeward Bound also offers child care, social and medical care services. The agency conducts classes on topics related to financial management, home maintenance and career development.
