Shia Ithna-Asheri Jammat Associates in Edmonton, Canada, traces its roots back to the exodus of Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslims from Uganda in 1972. Since then, the community has grown and established a religious hall to serve its members, offering regular congregational prayers and religious teachings.
Through dedication and hard work, the association has created a welcoming space for approximately 65 families and 225 individuals, with a resident priest conducting religious classes for children and organizing various community activities in alignment with Shia Jaafari faith.
