Truman Elementary enrolls more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade four and is a part of Sweetwater County School District 2. The school employs a staff of trained and certified nurses, teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, psychologists and reading tutors. It conducts classes in art, music, foreign languages and computer and physical education. Truman Elementary provides Title I and after-school programs. The school organizes field trips to various cultural and educational destinations. Truman Elementary also provides the English Language Learners program. It operates a parent-teacher organization that encourages parental involvement in children s education and sponsors various fundraising events and activities. In addition, the school provides speech therapy, guidance counseling and medical care services. Truman Elementary is located in Green River, Wyo.
