Hot Springs County High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 150 students. Its academic curriculum includes English, social studies, math, science, language arts, Spanish, and health and physical education. The school also organizes a variety of athletic activities that includes wrestling, football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, cross-country, golf, and track and field. In addition, Hot Springs County High School maintains a counseling office that offers career and personal development and college and scholarship preparation services, as well as financial support. The school sponsors various cocurricular events, such as drama presentations, band performances and speech debates. It is located in Thermopolis, Wyo., and is operated by Hot Springs County School District 1, which offers educational programs for students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools are accredited by the Wyoming State Board of Education and the North Central Association.
