History
The TA Ranch was established in 1882 just south of Buffalo Wyoming and is the historic site of the Johnson County Cattle War. Today the TA is a working cattle ranch and a guest ranch (rooms available) with visitors from around the world. Dine in the historic cookhouse built in 1906 from hand hewn logs while looking on the stunning views that haven't changed since 1892. Tour the historic barn and see the bullet holes resulting from the final shoot out where a small group of homesteading ranchers defeated the most powerful group of men in the American West and changed the course of American History forever.
