Byron is a town in Big Horn County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 557 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²), of which, 0.8 square miles (2.2 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (5.62%) is water.
The Town of Byron was named for Byron Sessions, leader of the first group of settlers to this location on May 22, 1900. Sessions was General Manager of the Sidon Canal Construction Company and their Spiritual leader .
