Incorporated in 1937, Big Horn Rural Electric Company is a member-owned electrical services providing cooperative. Located in Basin, Wyo., the cooperative provides safe and competitively-priced electricity, energy products and electrical appliance repair services to its members. It provides electricity to more than 3,400 customers in the Big Horn, Park, Washakie, Johnson and Sheridan counties in Wyoming, and Carbon and Big Horn counties in Montana. Big Horn Rural Electric Company s completed projects include single-phase to three-phase line conversion in the Shell area for the town of Greybull.
