HistoryBased in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Amdur Productions is a nationally acclaimed arts production company whose mission and vision is to bring artists, communities and collectors together and to make art more accessible to everyone--art novices, enthusiasts and aficionados. Artist Amy Amdur founded the Highland Park-based production company in 1983, after successfully launching the Taste of Port Clinton Art Festival, which continues not only to be an Amdur Production client, but also to be one of the country's most prestigious art fairs. Today, Amdur Productions consists of 30 staff members, composed of eight full-time staff, dozens of part-time employees and several volunteers and interns who work together each year to bring more than 20 festivals together, in 12 cities and 3 states.SpecialtiesFor more than thirty years, Amdur Productions has crafted and curated a selection of the country's most prestigious juried art festivals, including the Chicago Botanic Garden Art Festival, Gold Coast Art Fair, and Port Clinton Art Festival.
