Wisconsin County Highway Commission is a part of the Wisconsin County Highway Association and is based in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. The highway commission provides construction, repair and maintenance services for highways. The Wisconsin County Highway Association was founded in 1990 and is an incorporated, nonpartisan association of county governments in the state of Wisconsin organized to construct and maintain highways. The highway association offers its member counties a variety of services, such as publishing magazines, holding association meetings, and conducting educational and training services for county highway commissioners and committee members. It also creates and develops county highway construction and maintenance standards and specifications. Wisconsin County Highway Association has various standing committees, including executive, machinery management, legislative, utility accommodation, and safety and training.
