Parks and Forestry is responsible for installing and maintaining trees and landscaping on city property, including the thousands of trees that line city streets. Parks and Forestry also manages Hart and Webster parks.
You can visit the parks office in Hart Park to get a permit for games, parties and other events at park facilities. This office can also grant permits for the senior center, Muellner Building rental hall, the curling rink and athletic fields at Hart Park.
Parks and Forestry is a division of the Public Works Department and is guided on policy by both the Common Council and the advice of the Board of Parks and Forestry Commissioners.
