The Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council, Inc. (GLITC) is an organization established in the 1960s to support Native American tribes in Wisconsin. Through intertribal unity, GLITC works to develop and implement programs, seek outside assistance, and address governance and service challenges faced by its member tribes.
GLITC operates health and human service programs, education initiatives, and economic development projects to supplement the efforts of its member tribes. By providing a forum for intertribal discussion and collaboration, GLITC helps tribes maintain their independence while working together to address common issues and improve the quality of life for all Native people.
