The Superior Housing Authority is a public agency that helps people who meet income and other eligibility guidelines secure affordable housing options in the city of Superior, Wis. Its public housing program provides rental assistance to income-eligible individuals and families. The housing authority owns and operates more than 460 rental units. Its Section 8 Rental Assistance Program is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and provides rental subsidies to up to 170 low-income families who live in privately owned housing units.
