History
The Hotel began as The Turtle Lake Commercial Hotel in 1920. There were ten sleeping rooms at a cost of $1/night. The Hotel had a lunch counter as well as dining tables with white linens. The back bar was added in 1934 after Prohibition ended. Largely operated by women in it's nearly 100 year existence, the Hotel has continuously served Turtle Lake's best food and drinks. And that's just a little of our story. Stop in to view historic photographs. Be sure to ask about Annie. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to meet her if her spirit is so moved....
