History
Pucci's is a family owned and operated shop in Racine, WI, established in 1972. Bill Sr. and Bill Jr.(father and son) have strived for years to offer a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Bill Sr. started his barbering career in 1962 after having studied in Chicago, IL. He completed his apprenticeship with Ed Aeillo of Mr. Eds. In 1972 Bill Sr. struck out on his own and bought Well's Brothers Barber Shop on Durand Ave. Renamed Bill's Barber Shop, Bill Sr. ran this shop from 1972 until his oldest son Bill Jr. joined him in the business in 1985. Bill Jr. was classically trained as a Master Barber in Milwaukee, served his apprentice under his father and joined the family business now named Pucci's Barber Stylist. Pucci's moved to it's present location at 2424 Lathrop Ave. in January of 1999. This is a shop that offers a clean, precise and consistent haircut for both men and boys.
Specialties
Pucci's is a barber shop and always has been. Both barbers at Pucci's are true Master Barbers trained and licensed in this state when barbers were legitimate barbers. We don't call ourselves barbers now because it's trendy to do so. We specialize in close cropped clipper cuts. Low and tight, high and tight, flat tops and straight razor hot lather shaves. You don't bluff your way through a close, precise, traditional clipper cut and about the time you find yourself sitting in a chair of someone who is... it's too late.
