History
The Otter Creek Inn was the first bed and breakfast opened in the Chippewa Valley area. It opened in 1987 on a wooded acre - situated on a rolling hill within the city limits of Eau Claire/Altoona Wisconsin. The 1920 English Tudor building is an impressive 6,500 square feet, three-story facility; and has been remodeled to contain six guestrooms - each with its own private bathroom and double whirlpool.

The Otter Creek Inn is one of the longest running bed and breakfasts in Wisconsin. Opening as an Eau Claire B&B in 1987, it has been in continuous operationg since then and will soon celebrate its 25th year in business. The Otter Creek Inn is an English Tudor building constructed in 1920 and is furnished with antiques and collectibles. There are six guestrooms - all with private restrooms and double whirlpools. Each guestroom also has a TV, VCR, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker, alarm clock, and CD player. Many of the rooms also have a gas fireplace and mini-frig. Although a romantic adults-only environment (with many guests coming to celebrate a honeymoon, anniversary or birthday), it also hosts many business travelers looking for a unique alternative to a hotel or motel. The rates include a full breakfast each morning. The breakfast menu allows a choice of entrees, serving times, and breakfast-in-bed! Conveniently located with many restaurants and shops nearby.
