HistoryGerry Fregien opened The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy - Monona in 1984 in the strip mall located at the corner of Monona Dr. and Dean Ave. He continued to own and operate the pharmacy there until August 2009 when he moved the business to its current location at 4205 Monona Dr. Along with the move came added space for the increased number of services offered such as a drive-thru, pre-filled medboxes, blister packing, compounding, and diabetic shoes.
