Formed in 2001 as Wisconsin Limited Liability Company, United Wisconsin Grain Producers, LLC manages the business and day-to-day operations of an ethanol plant near Friesland, Wis. Its revenues are derived from the sale and distribution of ethanol and distillers grains throughout the continental United States, Canada and overseas. The company ships more than 124,000 tons of distillers grains each year, mostly to local dairy and cattle operators in other states and as far away as Korea and Japan.
