Shortly after World War II, the business moved to 1109 Williamson Street and broadened the scope of its operations to general signage work, including exterior wall paintings & murals, hand-lettering of glass & vehicles and general sign painting & construction throughout Madison and the surrounding area. The company continued operations on Williamson St. for over 40 years before moving to an old military warehouse near the Dane County Airport in the mid-1970's as the need grew for larger facilities. In 1987, Badger Display Studio became Badger Display Signs, Inc, and began to transition the business to a more technology driven production process, melding classic craftsmanship with modern production methods. 1991 saw the completion of a new state-of-the-art 10, 000 sq.ft. production facility just off Pflaum Road on Madison's far east side, where Badger Display Signs is located today.
