Human development Center, also known as HDC, is a private, nonprofit organization that was established in 1938. It is a community mental health center that serves residents in Carlton, Cook, Lake and St, Louis counties in northeastern Minnesota and Douglas County, Wis. The organization offers psychiatry, psychotherapy, adult and child case management and outreach services. Human development Center provides consultation and ongoing services for individuals with depression, anxiety and mental health problems associated with aging and physical health problems. It also offers comprehensive assessment, individual outpatient therapy and psychological evaluation services. The organization additionally provides services related to multiple sclerosis, Parkinson s disease and epilepsy, as well as brain injuries and developmental disabilities.
