About Holiday Home Camp Holiday Home Camp is a 26-acre facility located in Williams Bay, Wisconsin on the shores of Geneva Lake. The camp was established in 1887 by Chicago industrialists and remains one of the oldest accredited camps in the country still operating in its original location. In fact, the American Camp Association has recognized Holiday Home Camp as a pioneer in the field. Throughout a typical summer, Holiday Home Camp provides age-appropriate one and two-week programs that serve over 500 youth ( ages 7-16 ) from economically disadvantaged communities. Additionally, as many as 40 teens ( ages 14-18 ) apply for and are accepted into the 5-year Leadership Training Program ( LTP ). In addition to a staff of highly trained camp administrators and facilitators, Holiday Home Camp benefits from the contributions of seasoned professionals in the following areas of practice: mental health, physical health, nutrition, therapeutic recreation, adventure education, art therapy, outdoor and environmental education, aquatic recreation, and water safety. Together, they share a profound commitment to creating and sustaining a physically and emotionally safe environment that serves as the foundation for individual and group growth.
